Unfiltered Project Highlights the Creative Strength of Contemporary Jewelry
During Couture 2026, JULLS presented Unfiltered, an initiative developed in partnership with the mining company Belmont. The project brought together Brazilian designers and brands to interpret, through their own creative language, the beauty and versatility of Brazilian emeralds in unique, author-designed jewelry pieces.
The initiative aimed to increase the international visibility of Brazilian emeralds—gemstones that are already featured in creations by renowned high-jewelry houses but whose origin remains largely unknown to end consumers. Recognized for their intense green color and unique beauty, Belmont emeralds inspired creations by Alessandra Semeoni, Giovana Brait, Raris Brand, Moritz Glik, and Sal Jewelry.
A benchmark in responsible mining, Belmont combines technology, sustainability, and a strong commitment to human development. Located in the state of Minas Gerais, the company promotes opportunities, professional training, and social transformation for its employees and the surrounding community.
By bringing together original design, responsible sourcing, and the distinctive beauty of Belmont emeralds, Unfiltered reinforces the potential of these gemstones within the international high-jewelry landscape.
Couture: Positive Evaluation
One hundred percent of the participating companies approved the initiative and expressed interest in returning for future editions, demonstrating the relevance of Couture as an international platform for networking, brand positioning, and business generation for Brazilian jewelry companies.
Brazil’s presence at Couture reaffirms Precious Brazil’s commitment to expanding the international reach of Brazilian companies, showcasing to the world the innovation, creative diversity, and high added value of the country’s jewelry industry.
