Participation in JIS Miami and BIJORHCA strengthens brazilian industry in the international market

In the coming months, two major events in the jewelry and fashion accessories sector will further promote the presence of Brazilian brands in the global market, according to Precious Brazil, a sector project created by the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). This project aims to promote Brazilian gem and jewelry companies abroad.

BIJORHCA: Platform for European Market Exposure

Launched in Paris in 1930, the BIJORHCA fair is a world reference in trends for fashion accessories and gold-plated jewelry. The fall 2024 edition will take place from September 8 to 10 at Porte de Versailles in the French capital. Held alongside the Who’s Next and Impact fairs, traditional events in the textile industry, BIJORHCA creates an ecosystem dedicated to fashion, attracting buyers and influencers from all over Europe.

Although France ranks 15th in the destination ranking for Brazilian fashion accessories and gold-plated jewelry exports, the country serves as a hub for access to the European market. Participation in BIJORHCA offers a unique opportunity for Brazilian brands to showcase their creations and stand out in a highly competitive market. The fair is a strategic gateway to the European market, allowing Brazilian companies to increase their visibility and reach new export levels.

JIS Miami: Gateway to the Latin American Market

Recognized as one of the world’s leading fairs for jewelry and fashion accessories, JIS Miami is a crucial event for Brazilian companies seeking to expand their presence in the Latin American market. The fair, which takes place from October 6 to 9, 2024, in Miami (USA), offers the opportunity for immediate sales due to its ready-to-ship format and facilitates networking with retailers and wholesalers from various Latin American countries.

According to data gathered by Precious Brazil, the United States continues to lead the ranking of export destinations for the Brazilian jewelry and fashion accessories sector. From January to May 2024, USD 23 million were exported to the country, highlighting the importance of the North American market for Brazilian companies.

Participation in JIS Miami allows Brazilian brands to present their new products and launches directly to buyers, strengthening commercial ties and opening new business opportunities. This event is a significant showcase for the quality and creativity of Brazilian design.

Boosting exports and innovation

The participation of Brazilian companies in JIS Miami and BIJORHCA reflects the sector’s commitment to strengthening its international presence and promoting innovation in jewelry and fashion accessories design. With the support of projects like Precious Brazil, which promotes the gemstone and jewelry industry abroad, Brazilian brands continue to stand out for their quality, creativity, and sustainability.

The expectation is that participation in these events will significantly contribute to the increase in Brazilian exports, consolidating the country as one of the leading suppliers of jewelry and fashion accessories in the global market.
