Precious Brazil will bring buyers from Mexico, Colombia, and the United States to FENINJER, reinforcing the strategy to diversify international markets for Brazilian jewelry.
The 83rd edition of FENINJER, Latin America’s leading jewelry industry hub, will expand international business opportunities for the Brazilian jewelry industry through Exporta Mais FENINJER, an initiative that brings international buyers together with exhibiting companies. This year, the initiative advances its market diversification strategy by welcoming buyers from Mexico—a market that has long been of interest to Brazilian companies—as well as representatives from other countries in the Americas.
The initiative is part of Precious Brazil, a sectoral project led by the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Through trade promotion and international positioning initiatives, the project seeks to expand Brazilian companies’ access to strategic buyers and strengthen their presence across global markets.
Market Diversification as a Strategy
Historically, the initiative held during FENINJER has had a strong presence of representatives from South America, a region whose consumer profile is closely aligned with Brazilian jewelry production. In 2026, the strategy is expanding to include markets that have previously had limited participation in the initiative, reflecting companies’ growing need to diversify destinations and reduce the concentration of their exports.
Of the five buyers invited to this edition, two are from Mexico, two from Colombia, and one from the United States. The inclusion of Mexican representatives responds to a recurring request from exhibiting companies and creates new opportunities to build commercial relationships in one of the region’s most relevant markets.
The project is also broadening its reach at a time of significant changes in international trade. In a landscape marked by new tariff barriers and a growing need to diversify export destinations, connecting Brazilian companies with different markets has become even more important for creating alternative business opportunities and strengthening the sector’s competitiveness.
During FENINJER, buyers will have the opportunity to experience Brazilian companies’ collections, new releases, and production capabilities firsthand, establishing connections with the potential to generate business and long-term commercial relationships.
Precious Brazil at FENINJER
This year, 35 Precious Brazil member companies will participate in the trade show. Out of a total of 165 exhibitors, companies supported by the project represent approximately 20% of the show, demonstrating FENINJER’s relevance to the sector’s internationalization strategies.
Organized by IBGM, FENINJER is Latin America’s largest jewelry trade show and one of the industry’s leading business hubs, bringing together manufacturers, designers, suppliers, and buyers around new product launches, trends, and commercial opportunities.
In addition to the buyers, the international program will welcome Agata Jankowiak, a Polish influencer based in Portugal, expanding the initiative’s reach beyond direct business generation. Her participation will help introduce Brazilian jewelry to new audiences and increase its visibility in the European market. Her work can be found on Instagram @blingsiscom.
Joias da Amazônia Joins the Program
Another highlight will be Joias da Amazônia, which will have a dedicated space at the trade show as part of the Exporta Mais FENINJER program.
Developed by Instituto Elabora Social, the project brings together 14 women artisans from Pará from diverse communities—including urban, Quilombola, riverside, and extractive communities—in a training program focused on jewelry design, metalsmithing, and the circular economy. Their creations combine design and cultural identity with materials connected to Amazonian sociobiodiversity, including seeds, fibers, ceramics, sustainably managed wood, and other natural elements paired with recycled aluminum.
Presenting the project to international guests broadens the narrative surrounding Brazilian jewelry production, showcasing a country that combines industrial capabilities with original design, cultural diversity, innovation, and sustainability.
By bringing together trade promotion, access to new markets, and international visibility initiatives at one of the industry’s most important showcases, Exporta Mais FENINJER 2026 reinforces an increasingly important strategy for Brazilian companies: diversifying markets, building new connections, and expanding opportunities for Brazilian jewelry in the global marketplace.
