From September 8 to 11 (Thursday to Sunday), 9 Brazilian companies (Aricanga Mine, Duarte & Duarte Pedras, Hercules Gems, Itagemas, JS Gems, Pinkstones, RC Gemas, RR Barbosa and Tim Brazil Stones) participate in the second edition the HardRock Summit, a colored gems fair that takes place in Denver, CO, in the United States.
With the support of Precious Brazil, a sectoral project created by the Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals (IBGM) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the brands show great expectations for the event that presents itself as a opportunity for Brazilian expansion in the international scenario.
Gemstones and mineral artifacts are the flagship of exports to the United States, considered the project’s main market. According to Clarissa Maciel, coordinator of International Relations at Precious Brazil, the HardRock Summit is an opportunity for Brazilians to position themselves in the global market and present the variety and quality of stones, as well as their expertise in cutting.
