The participation of 11 Brazilian companies in Milano Fashion&Jewels resulted in 50 business deals during the trade show and an estimated €100,000 in business over the next 12 months.
Precious Brazil’s participation in Milano Fashion&Jewels, held from September 12 to 14, concluded with results that reinforce the potential of the European market for Brazilian companies. Throughout the event, the 11 brands supported by the project made more than 200 business contacts, including 100 new connections, expanding their networks with buyers from different countries.
Carried out by the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Precious Brazil participated in the trade show with Anna Prata, Auma, Creative Brazil, Cristina Sabatini, Emilia Kipper, Eneida França, Hector Albertazzi, Miyama Biojoias, Mônica Krexa, Oro Bio Gioielli, and Possebon.
The contacts established during the three-day event were primarily with direct buyers from markets including Italy, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, Belarus, Nigeria, and Kenya. This geographic diversity demonstrates how participating in an international trade show also enables Brazilian brands to connect with professionals from markets beyond the host country.
New Connections Turn into Business
In addition to prospecting and expanding their network of contacts, the Brazilian companies achieved commercial results during Milano Fashion&Jewels itself. The participating companies reported 50 business deals completed during the trade show.
Over the next 12 months, approximately €100,000 in business is expected to result from the connections established during the event.
These results highlight an important aspect of the internationalization process: trade shows provide opportunities both for immediate business and for establishing commercial relationships that can continue to generate results after the events have ended.
Milan also holds a strategic position within this international agenda. Internationally recognized for its connection to fashion and design, the city provides an environment where different segments of the creative industries can connect with professionals from a wide range of markets.
Milan Will Also Welcome Brazilian Designers at Milano Jewelry Week
Brazilian creativity will once again be present in the city in October during Milano Jewelry Week. Although this initiative is not among the events receiving technical or financial support from Precious Brazil, the event will also feature a Brazilian delegation curated by Bianca Zaramella, a journalist, fashion editor, and creative director who returns to the role for the third consecutive year.
Since 2024, Bianca has been responsible for curating and supporting the Brazilian designers participating in Milano Jewelry Week. Over three editions, the initiative will have brought 22 Brazilian designers to the event, representing different regions and creative perspectives from across the country. In 2026, she will also serve on the Milano Jewelry Week Awards jury for the third consecutive year.
Through Blossom Brasil, Bianca’s work extends beyond selecting designers to include editorial preparation, image and communication direction, public relations, and relationship-building with the international market before, during, and after the event.
Although they are independent initiatives, Milano Fashion&Jewels and Milano Jewelry Week highlight Milan as a relevant meeting point for different expressions of Brazilian creative production.
For the companies supported by Precious Brazil, the results achieved in September provide concrete evidence of the potential of international connections to open markets, bring companies closer to buyers, and create new business opportunities.
