The project aims to promote its initiatives and attract audiences from different regions of Brazil.

Precious Brazil, an initiative of the Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), will be present at two national events in the first week of May with the aim of promoting project initiatives and attracting new audiences from different regions of the country.

In the Northeast, in Teresina (Piauí), the Inova Joalheria takes place, the first congress on gemology, jewelry, and new technologies, aiming to inform and bring new trends and innovations to the jewelry industry.

Meanwhile, the city of Soledade, in the South of the country, hosts Exposol, the largest multisector fair in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, with national and international audience. The event, organized by Sindipedras, a local partner of Precious Brazil, features the participation of 17 companies involved in it.

According to Jacqueline Mallmann, executive director of Sindipedras, the Union of Jewelry, Mining, Beneficiation, and Transformation Industries of Precious and Semi-Precious Stones of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, the group’s initiatives have generated visibility, and attracted buyers from international markets, such as Germany, France, and Singapore.

“We started with 11 companies. Today we have 17 companies associated with Sindipedras that are part of Precious Brazil. And all of them are participating in the 22nd edition of the fair,” she reports.

Brazil stands out as one of the world’s main sources of gems. Additionally, the creativity and repertoire of Brazilian designers, highlighted by the country’s size, are unique attractions in the international jewelry arena. Combined with good practices and production technologies, the country is also a global reference in jewelry manufacturing.
